Supplementary Angles of Community Services (SACS) is a 501(c)(3), human service organization based in Brooklyn Park, MN. Established in 1985, we are committed to providing assistance to individuals and families in meeting their basic needs. We develop community service programs that are focused on invigoration.
Our mission of invigoration is to transform the heart of the community through compassion, decisive action, and building relationships. We strive to demolish the cycle of dependency by providing essential services and hope to families and individuals.
It is our mission to encourage suffering and struggling people to carry on when the needs are great and overwhelming. Our long-range goal is to provide needed services to families and individuals that will enable them to break the chain of generational poverty.
Our name means to help. We see ourselves as a part of this big work of community services, teaming up to help where there is a need. Everyone realizes that these are serious times in which we live. In spite of all that's been done, the needs appear to grow daily.
Throughout the years, our organization has been helping families and individuals and we have seen them in turn help others. We have contributed to the breakdown in that generational cycle of poverty in our communities. We have witnessed the pride and joy in being set free in order to be able to say, “I am the first in my family to do this". Those words make one want to do more and we intend to. We reach out to other organizations, cities, civic groups, and clubs, always asking the questions, "how can we work together, how can we make a difference?" We ask you the same. Come partner with us.
